introduction

The OLITREVA project was developed within the European Seventh Framework Programme of the European Commission to reinforce scientific and technological (S&T) capacities of the Palestinian research institution working in the field of Olive Mill Waste Treatment and Valorization by increasing networking and cooperation with European centres of scientific excellence. The organization of an International Conference in Palestine at the end of the OLITREVA project is one of the main objectives of Work package 5: Dissemination and Networking.

The aim of the conference is not only to disseminate project results, but also to exchange ideas and present the latest research works in the field of Olive Mill Waste Treatment and Valorisation. Therefore it is addressed to researchers, olive-oil associations, governmental authorities, end users and any other specialists in the sector.
